A gentle yet effecive resurfacing serum that leaves problem skin clear and even toned

Pros

Leaves face smoother and pores more refined

Cons

Comes in a dropper, though a dispenser pump might be better

I had already placed a couple of BRAD skin care products at the top of my "favorites" list, and now another of the family — BRAD Biophotonic Essential Elixir Pore-Tightening Resurfacing Replenish Serum (1.7oz/$95) — joins them. I have problem skin, which I define as very oily with occasional breakouts, frequent clogged pores and/or blackheads and often uneven skin tone. My goal is finding skin care products that not only address my issues but also work to improve my skin and I found this serum has both benefits.

This has a true serum consistency so I found it applies best (and also requires less product) by leaving my skin slightly damp right after cleansing and applying sparingly to evenly cover my face and neck. It absorbed quickly without leaving any residue or stickiness on my skin. Although one of the benefits of this serum is resurfacing, it isn’t harsh. I didn’t experience any irritation, dryness and flaking, peeling or taut skin. I found within a couple of days it did even out my skin tone and left it with a healthy "glow." Although I didn’t have any breakouts when I began use, I did have clogged pores and a couple of blackheads that were all gone after a couple of weeks. I was pleased with just those results but now after slightly over a month of twice daily use, I can tell my face is also smoother with pores a bit refined and skin still clear and even toned. I couldn’t really see any difference on my neck, but the results to my face alone are worthy of recommending this product for men and women alike. My only suggestion for improvement would be a dispenser pump instead of a dropper.
