I am in my 40s and have been very happy with GuruNanda Pulling Oil ($14.99). I have always tried other oils for oil pulling but I stop after a few weeks because I can't tolerate the cleansing in my system. Maybe my system is too weak or I'm using too much oil. I have tried olive oil and coconut oil in the past. Both were good initially until I kept doing it and got a reaction from the cleansing, so of course I stopped.

This product on the other hand has not caused me any severe cleansing reactions. I was not sure what to expect but I have noticed my mind is clearer. I have little more energy too. I keep the product next to my nightstand so the minute I wake up I do my oil pulling.

I started out with much less than the recommended amount and gradually have been taking a little more. I like that it is refreshing due to the peppermint oil in it.

The ingredients are all organic and non-GMO! A plus for me. With so much discussion about products being GMO, I feel safe with this one! There is no fluoride as well. I love that too!

I can't say that I have had any other benefits. I will keep taking it and see if it will cause weight loss and decreased pain. I suffer with a left shoulder injury and have constant pain but so far this has not helped with that. I do think my gums have improved and my mouth does feel cleaner.

If I were to change anything it would be the plastic bottle it comes in. I would prefer it be a glass bottle if possible.

All in all, I think it is a must-try for all those seeking to have a more controlled experience with oil pulling. It has been a positive experience for me.

My husband has been oil pulling for nearly a year due to serious dental issues & an extreme phobia of dentists. We've seen a LOT of improvement with him using just pure coconut oil, whereas before I was getting very worried thinking he would need treatment under general anaesthesia. We've never noticed *any* adverse effects, and definitely no additional 'cleansing' of the body or no weight loss.

Oil pulling has been around for a very long time & I've always gone for natural solutions to problems before going the pharmaceutical route, but this is the very first I've heard of it being used OR recommended for weight loss etc. I've known people in past years who have also oil pulled for several years & who haven't lost any weight either. Mind you, that's not why they started oil pulling. I'm predicting that there's going to be millions of disappointed people who will hope this is their ultimate answer to weight loss, because this just isn't it.

Greetings Maria , I have read much in regard to oil pulling . I am soon to begin hoping it will help diminish pain. Could you be more specific as to your system not being able to tolerate it ? I truly would like to know before i begin !! What symptoms did you experience ? { I know not everyone will experience the same but i not yet read the possibility of such dramatic reasons to stop } I also hope this product helps with your shoulder pain. Thank you for review and hopefully reply ***
