A refreshing toner that leaves skin feeling bright and healthy, this mist helps fight aging due to sun damage with flavonoids and antioxidants

Pros

Helps fight aging due to sun damage and leave skin feeling bright and clean

Cons

Results may be subtle

There are three things I loved right up front about Your Best Face Uplift Toner Mist ($22 in the shop) before even using it:

1. It smells like marzipan.
2. It’s a spray mist (you don’t need cotton pads to apply).
3. It’s maximum travel size, which means you can take it with you in your carry on luggage when traveling.

Your Best Face Uplift Toner Mist comes in a compact 2 oz /60 ml aluminum spray bottle with a cap. It’s also reasonably priced at $22.00. I’ve been using it twice a day for one month now — once in the morning before applying sunscreen and make-up and once at night before applying my night repair cream. It has a lovely light fragrance (the marzipan smell is probably coming from the licorice root), and the spray mist allows me to get full coverage without wasting and dripping extra product.

While the actual effects on my skin have been subtle and hard to truly compare with the effects of my previous toner, I have to say that in any case, my face looks and feels bright and healthy. As a 62-year-old woman with changing skin that’s seen lots of sun damage, I am happy to discover this toner. It’s alcohol free and filled with antioxidants, flavonoids  and rejuvenating botanicals, such as licorice root (thought to decrease inflammation), chicory root, horse chestnut, algae extract (all of which hydrate the skin and help prevent wrinkles) and olive leaf extract (helps protect skin from UV damage). It also contains knotgrass flavinoids, which help fight aging due to sun damage, and Vitamin C, an antioxidant for the skin that is said to increase collagen, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and discolorations.

Overall, I have liked Your Best Face products. They are effective, reasonably priced, free of harmful chemicals and are not tested on animals. I am delighted to add this toner to my arsenal of daily products and give it two thumbs up!

I'm glad you liked this Leslie. The marzipan smell (which I love too) comes from spin trap - YBF's signature ingredient is a free radical scavenger that is derived from almonds (hence the scent).
