Lightens and moisturizes with natural ingredients

Diminishes dark spots, evens skin tone and firms skin

When I was asked to do a review for the Dawn Lorraine Lemongrass Enzyme Creme ($54) I took one look at the list of ingredients (the first thing I always do when trying a product) and knew I just had to try this. The ingredients list is pretty overwhelming as it contains just about every yummy, nutritious morsel you could ever want to eat or put on your skin (Pumpkin, Strawberry, Spirulina anyone?) and has zero yucky stuff. I can't fathom how they got all of the listed ingredients in this jar!

When I first opened the jar I was blown away by the scent. It's truly like waking up on a tropical island, walking onto the patio and seeing all those beautiful flowers. This stuff is the Caribbean in a jar, it smells so good!

The enzyme creme is a creme as described and is somewhat light and liquidy. The first listed ingredient is Aloe Vera Juice and it is evident. Aside from being pretty liquidy, it is somewhat thick at the same time and does not run. It absorbs very quickly and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and makeup goes on nicely on top of it. I definitely noticed a glow in my skin when using this. I used it in the morning after my vitamin C serum and at night before going to bed. It truly did refresh and brighten my skin.

I have acne prone skin and went through my teen years with pretty severe acne so I have minor scars and red marks. After using the Dawn Lorraine Lemongrass Enzyme Creme both the scars and red marks (and my Irish freckles) have diminished. This creme truly delivers what it offers on the jar — "lightening, resurfacing & for uneven tone and fine lines."  Aside from helping even out skin tone I also feel my skin is firmer and in much better shape than it was prior to using it! I am very pleased after using this for 2 months and will continue to use this and likely order more. I would estimate I have about one month left in the jar so it lasts approximately 3 months which is decent for the price point at $54.

In reviewing all of the ingredients, 3 benefits continually resounded: anti-Inflammatory, antioxidants, and moisturizing. I would recommend this creme for acne prone skin (as well as recovering from acne), anti-aging, and hydration. I live in Georgia and used this during the most humid months of the year and my skin has never felt better.  It feels smooth, even and bright.

Bottom line, the Dawn Lorraine Lemongrass Enzyme Creme is amazing. You couldn't ask for much more in a facial creme. It is chock-full of amazing, organic and natural ingredients. It will leave your skin feeling refreshed and silky smooth. And you'll come out smelling like sunshine!

I've just started trying out a moisturizer from Dawn Lorraine and I find the scent sublime. It puts me in a good mood, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. And then, Melissa, you did it for me - the smell of sunshine!
