Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Active Moisture Time Release Vitamin D Moisture Mist is an aromatic spray designed for those of us who love getting a sun-kissed glow, but love keeping our skin hydrated and healthy even more. This non-irritating spritz uses alpine rose extract to increase skin's resistance to environmental stressors and dryness while shiitake mushroom, a rich source of vitamin D, soothes irritation and redness. This skin-loving product has been tested and reviewed, like all of the items offered by Truth In Aging, so you can be sure that the Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Active Moisture Time Release Vitamin D Moisture Mist will provide you with glowing, moisturized skin. Shop Truth In Aging today to get more products that nourish and enrich your complexion.

Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Active Moisture Time Release Vitamin D Moisture Mist uses patented technology Oleosomes to prolong the delivery of active moisture to the skin for long-lasting hydration and the highest amount of effectiveness possible. One of the main ingredients, alpine rose active, comes from high altitudes in the mountains of Switzerland, where it develops flavonoids, antioxidants and antiviral compounds. Used topically, it works to fight free radicals, boost skin's resilience and build more of a defense against oxidative stress and environmental pathogens. Shiitake mushrooms work to gently exfoliate with L-ergothioneine and brighten skin with kojic acid. You'll end up with the healthiest, most protected and most luminous skin you've ever had.

Directions:
Shake gently. Mist cleansed face and décolleté morning and evening. Follow with serum or moisturizer. Spritz throughout the day to refresh and rehydrate skin. Also perfect as a finishing step to set makeup.

TIA Review by Marta:
I am going to tell you about a moisturizer. A fabulous moisturizer. An unusual moisturizer. But first, you have to come with me on my terms and promise – cross your heart – to erase the last word of this moisturizer’s name from your mind: Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release Mist.

Yes, that’s right…. no mist, no spray, no spritz. One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release is a moisturizer. And a lovely one. That happens not to be a cream (or gel).

Why am I making such a fuss about this? Well, mark my words, if people get it into their heads that One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release is a mere mist, they will be either mystified (almost a pun) or dismissive. You see, people think a mist is a decadent spray that isn’t really part of a serious skincare routine. So what I want to get across is that this is a serious moisturizer (that you just, well, spray on).

What I like most about One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release is the vitamin D part. There aren’t too many cosmetic products with vitamin D, which is a shame since most of us are vitamin D deficient, especially at this time of the year. One Love Organics uses shitake mushroom extract, which is a good source of ergocalciferol or vitamin D2. This is a good thing because ergocalciferol helps protect the skin from sun damage.

The simple formula also has alpine rose extract, which contains the skin whitening compound arbutin. Rice extract is an antioxidant and aloe and safflower moisturize. The preservative, polyaminopropyl biguanide, is relatively benign and unlikely to cause irritation (it is typically used in contact lens solutions).

I find One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release provides lasting hydration for the face, neck and décolleté. I have used it under a serum and those with younger skin could even use it instead of one. I have slightly oily skin and I really like adding the extra moisture that my skin needs in frigid winter conditions without having to add another layer of cream or gel. There is no doubt that One Love Organics Vitamin D Active Moisture Time Release will be a regular feature in my routine.

Surprisingly moisturizing for a spray. Not a heavy moisturizer though if your looking for some intense hydration. Calming, and plays well with products. I find I am surprisingly sad when I get to the end of a bottle. My skin really seems to appreciate the ingredient list.

I just tried this mist and compared it against the Sevani Rose Tonique and the iS Clinical Copper Mist. All of these toners/mists have great ingredients, so I know they are good for my skin. However, I wanted to comment on which one made my skin feel and look better after using.

This Elizabeth Dehn VitaminD Moisture Mist is FAR more moisturizing as a toner/mist than any others I've tried!! I am 63 and have dry and dehydrated skin. Trying to shake things up a bit more in my skin care right now.

The Vit D mist left a more moisturized look AND feel to my skin after its drying down period (moisturized, but not wet). In contrast, the other toners and mists - once dryed down - did nothing to make my face feel or look more moist at all.

Because of my age and skin condition, I don't use any toners or mists as actual moisturizers, since I need much more. But - this Vit D mist is marvelous to use as a toner before my other products.

Also, because I wanted to get the benefits of the ingredients in the iS Clinical Firming Mist, I'm going to use both that one and the the Elizabeth Dehn Vitamin D mist. Not sure how just yet (ie in sequence or alternating am and pm).

IMO - this is a major find for my skin. Thanks, TIA !!

I really like this mist, I use it as a prep step in my nightly routine. Better than the Kat Burki one.

  • 5 stars 3 out of 5

I wanted to love this but in the end just liked it. I didn't feel a difference in moisture in my face compared to any other mist or toner that I've used, and I definitely didn't notice a time release affect. The ingredients appeal to me, and I LOVE the rose smell! I love it so much that I found myself reaching for this spray a lot to spray on my face just to smell it! However, that means I went through those 2 oz. really fast, and for the lack of affects on my skin I just can't justify the price to buy it again.

I received this in the Discover with Marta collection and I like to use this mist on hot and humid days, when I don't like a heavy moisturized feel on my face. It seems to hydrate my skin but it is a light moisturizer. I don't know if this is moisturizing enough to use during colder temperatures.

  • 5 stars 4 out of 5

To be honest, i don't really see any difference in my skin after I have been using it for several months. It is not a stand out moisturizer to my skin...what it is -is creative. Especially for those hot humid days when you know that you will just sweat off your serum or moisturizer this product is a great solution that you wont sweat off and give you a touch of moisturizer. I also discovered that when i combine this product with "Mad Hippi vitamin C serum " a few hours later I get a rush tingly feeling to my face...maybe that is what "active moisturizer time release" means? I would give this product 5 stars of it were a little cheaper. There seems to always be some creative way to fit it into your skincare routine some how...you got to give credit to Elisabeth Dehn for thinking of a product that you can always add because it is unlike anything else!

  • I just came across this product on your BRAND NEW SALE and WOW! it was already sold out! I was shocked last night ,wanting to place an order on all the items that were restocked to find they were all out of stock again by the time I went to order, in just a short 24hr period. Amazing! NowI really am anxious to get my hand on at least a few : ) I definitely call this one hot site. Next time I'm going to have to jump on it the minute its posted. Also if these items that have gone out of stock that were on sale, after restocking, will the sale price still apply?
    Thanks,

    Terri

I would love to try this! Sunflower oil is excellent in repairing the skin barrier (which mine is dehydrated) and I am still in search of the perfect makeup remover that is effective but non drying and doesn't cause breakouts.

I love the EDOLO line. I would love to try the cleansing oil. It is the one product in this line that I've been dying to try. This product has gotten such rave reviews in the natural beauty community. I've yet to try the oil cleansing method, but this one looks incredible.

I am hoping to find this multi-tasking facial cleanser and make-up remover that will not only remove make-up and cleanse my oily and problematic skin but also eliminate the day's environmental toxins and calm down the irritation from acne.
This new product sounds like it has the power to do all that so I hope to get chosen to put it to the test.

I would absolutely LOVE to try this product. I am constantly looking for new ways to care for my skin and a good deal LOL! This is both (if I win, of course). My skin is oily as well and I have a hard time finding something that doesn't make it oilier. I love the fact that it has vitamin D in it. During winter I look for anything that will give my body the vitamin D it needs. Especially this one, it's been colder and more snowy than it has been in ten years!

Aloe barbadensis leaf juice*, Rhododendron ferrugineum (alpine rose) extract (and) glycerin*, Carthamus tinctorius (safflower) oleosomes (and) aqua, oryza sativa (rice) extract (and) lentinus edodes (mushroom) extract*, Caprylic/capric triglyceride (and) rose extract, Dehydroacetic acid (and) benzyl alcohol
