I'm really excited to tell you about our new, FDA-approved device, Truth Vitality Lux Renew. This unique device combines three technologies — ultrasound and two LED lights (blue and red) — into one easy-to-use, at-home anti-aging skin care treatment.

  • Ultrasound works at the cellular level to produce new collagen, thereby firming and contouring the face
  • Red LED works to diminish fine lines and wrinkles
  • Blue LED works to reduce acne blemishes and breakouts

The Lux Renew allows you to choose the mode and intensity you want to use, and it has a convenient timer panel to count down the time of your session.  This device can be used 3 to 5 times a week, and will produce results almost instantaneously. The effects are cumulative over time, so the more you use it, the more benefits you'll see! Be sure to use your device with a water-based gel (try our Ultra Renew Gel), as the water will improve the conductivity of the ultrasonic waves.

Watch my video to learn more about how Lux Renew's three technologies work to add vitality and plumping to the skin, and to see a demonstratation of the proper way to use our device.

Hi Ruth, LED penetration is a consequence of wavelength, measured in nm. Our red LED is 650nm. Having said that the number of lights on a panel is also a factor as more will treat an area more efficiently. Quasar MD has more lights than our device, but the nm is the same. I cannot comment on "sonic" devices on eBay. Sonic is not always used to mean ultrasound as often sonic devices are on a different frequency and vibrate much like a sonic toothbrush - not ultrasound at all. Our FDA cleared device is ultrasound and LED and has been verified by independent clinical trials. Finally, it's just worth remembering as you shop around that these are medical devices and you might want to consider warranty, customer service, FDA clearance and clinical support.

I am shopping for a good red led device for anti aging. At the site of Quasar, where they sell "Baby Quasar Plus" which is a red led device, the site states the Baby Quasar is 3 to 4 times more powerful than their leading competitor's version. More power, they say, means better penetration, so that the time needed to see results is far less than the cheaper versions. I would like to know what value of measurement is used to determine the greater power, is it nanometer, the effective red light wavelength being between 620 and 700 nm? Is it the depth of penetration which is what, ideally? And how does yours measure up to the baby quasar, because to tell you the truth, I have seen many that look like yours on e bay that cost less than 50 dollars that have sonic ability. What is the difference, please?

    Hi Gina
It can be used on the throat and neck unless you have a hyperactive thyroid (which could make you more sensitive to heat)

Can the lux renew be used on the neck and throat area?

Hi Asya, in order to get FDA clearance you need to establish that FDA has already reviewed and passed the technology. Galvanic (ionic) has not already been passed by the FDA and so would require very lengthy and expensive testing and clinical trials (beyond a small business such as mine).

    Hello Marta,

What happened with ions (positive and negative) technology, that was in the Ultra Renew? Did the FDA think it is not effective?

Hi Cheryl, what you have is an earlier prototype that has not been FDA cleared. The Truth Vitality Lux Renew is FDA cleared.
